Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know
The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
